Over three days during the COVID-19 pandemic, Julian and Yessica co-directed and co-produced Vice President Kamala Harris’ introduction video, “Kamala Harris is US,” before receiving the official Democratic Vice-Presidential nomination. With Julian at the helm as Director of Photography, she galvanized a group of nationally recognized cinematographers from all over the country to film the iconic video that premiered on live television during the 2020 Democratic National Convention and before Vice President Harris walked out at any of her campaign events thereafter.
